It was time to go. And we did, deciding to stop only for lunch and coffee until we reach the Baltic. And at time we were serious about this. The whole journey wasn’t happening proper, rubbish or non existent campsites and on top of it all, barely favourable or particularly unfavourable weather conditions.
This morning it was kind of cloudy and miserable as well. It remained so for much of the drive ahead of us. It was a long drive especially with the turning and twisting around just north of Riga. We followed signs for campsites only to find them not existing anymore or being turned into a holiday resort where we weren’t welcome.
We didn’t quite make it to the coast. At last, Driving through a military exercise and training ground on a road that was probably only suitable for tanks we found a pretty nice place. Only that it was most deserted on a Sunday evening, but that didn’t bother us much after sitting the car for 413 kms. We decided once again to take a bungalow.
Lili loved the place, we haven’t seen a playground since Lublin and it was a real nice one. It was a free place and there was also hot water that didn’t smell like rotten eggs. It was pleasant and even the sun came out. We made a fire and had a rather relaxing evening.

Itt volt ay ideje hogy nekilássunk a napnap. Elhatároztuk hogy csak ebédre meg kávézni álunk meg. A cél Rigától északra egy, bármely kemping. Arrafelé sok van. Hittünk been, hogy ha kijutunk a a Balti tengerhez, minden jóra fordul. Rengeteget autóztunk aznap, de a partig nem jutottunk el. Találtunk olyan kempinget ami már bezárt, vagy átalakult, most üdülőotthonok sokasága volt (a kemping kiirás tizenvalahány kilóméterről még így is hivogatott).
Végül egy katonai gyakorlóövezeten keresztülautózva, úton, amit talán már csak tankok bírna sikerült találnunk egy meglehetősen kellemes kempinget, szokás szerint teljesen üres volt persze de me maradtunk s ki is vettünk agy faházat. 413km után pihenni akartunk. Lili nagyon örül a játszótérnek, Lublin óta nem volt játszótér.
Rengeteg hely volt, kényelem, biztonság, este még a nap is kisütött s mi tábortüzet is csináltunk.
